When it comes to music artists, there are various styles and different tastes people prefer. Many people like rap, R&B, Jazz, etc. A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, aka A Boogie, is arguably one of the best musicians out there currently. His ability to do both singing and rapping makes him unique compared to other artists, and he also releases different types of songs that can be sad, energetic, etc. A Boogie also continuously drops meaningful lyrics that listeners can relate to. People want to listen to an artist who is versatile, has songs that match different moods, and has relatable and meaningful lyrics. A Boogie does all three of these things.

A Boogie is Versatile

You should listen to A Boogie because he is very versatile and has the ability to do both singing and rapping. In his 2020 release Me and My Guitar he shows off his vocal skills. Although it’s one of his more underrated pieces, listeners are able to enjoy his melodic tone and see a slightly different music style from his usual rapping, which A Boogie is known for. His rap song Drowning reached diamond status and was able to sell over 10 million copies. Listening to A Boogie will allow you to enjoy the presence of both a rapper and a singer.

Many Moods

Listening to A Boogie will put you in many different moods as his lyrics hint at many different feelings/emotions. In his 2016 release Jungle, he raps, “Why would I **** with you? / You been plottin’, ***** wasn’t you? / I should’ve been watching from the jump with you.” In this song, he hints at feelings of betrayal and allows the listeners to feel a sense of anger. But that’s not the only emotion his lyrics convey. In his 2018 release “Look Back at it,” his lyrics are “Said she never made love, but she good at it / She make a ***** feel good when I look at it I get goosebumps when I look at it / Oh, girls just wanna have fun wit’ it.” These lyrics ignite an excited teen romance type of feeling. A Boogie’s songs are very versatile when it comes to feeling and moods, allowing listeners to enjoy his songs when feeling all kinds of emotions.

Relatable Lyrics

A Boogie uses very meaningful and emotionally felt lyrics, which allow listeners to relate to his lyrics. This is proven by his 2017 release, Still Think About You, where he raps melodically, “Said you always gon’ be there for me. / Now you gone and you just disappeared on me. / Can’t believe I really thought you cared for me / You was s’posed to be the one that’s here with me.” These lyrics allow readers to relate to the common feeling of heartbreak. A Boogie also puts relatable lyrics in “Drowning,” where he states, “We went from chillin’ in the projects to makin’ projects. / We was tryna get to the top, and they tried to stop us. / I talk for myself, ***** I don’t need no ******* voucher.”
